ABOUT

A music educator for the Louis Riel School Division (elementary music, guitar, and band), Allan is also an active musician and private teacher.  He earned his Bachelor of Music degree (Jazz Studies Performance) from the University of Manitoba where he studied under the tutelage of Quincy Davis, Jimmy Greene, Larry Roy, George Colligan, Terreon Gully, and many others. Although Allan first fell in love with the drum set, he quickly developed a passion towards all rhythm section instruments (piano, bass, and guitar).

When Allan is not teaching during the day, he can be found playing piano/guitar during wedding ceremonies, DJing for corporate parties/receptions, and playing drums with his jazz quartet, funk band, or the Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra.
